Azulato Children’s Festival set for May
The Azulato Children’s Festival, organized by Goethe-Zentrum Kampala/Uganda-German Cultural Society, takes place for the first time this year. With hands-on activities, interactive workshops and performances, it promotes the arts and sciences as an immersive learning experience for children to develop their talents and grow their self-confidence.
The festivals are slated for Sunday, 6th of May 2018 at Seven Trees Gardens, Kololo from midday to 7pm.
All children are invited to participate in activities such as creating a collective sculpture, mural painting, dance and music workshops, learning about robotics and digital animation among others. Entry to this one-day event is free. Azulato Children’s Festival is an inclusive festival for all children regardless of background and differences in abilities. It is meant to give all children a chance to enjoy learning through participation in fun activities. The whole family is welcome to participate.
