Anite and other Koboko leaders impressed by project works in Arua Municipality

The minister of State for Finance in charge of Investments Hon. Evelyn Anite is happy about ongoing projects in Arua Municipality.
The honorable minister in the company of other area leaders said they were impressed by works on Arua Stadium and Arua Main Market. Anite together with her group, they requested the engineers to come and put similar infrastructure in Koboko Municipality.
“I had an exciting benchmark visit to two key projects in Arua Municipality as I led a team of politicians and technocrats from my Constituency (Koboko Municipality) to Arua stadium and Arua main market which are under construction by Eng. Joel Aita, the Managing Director of Joadah Consult through the Development Infrastructure project.
As leaders of Koboko Municipality, we were impressed by the progress of the projects and as a result, we requested the Engineers to come and put similar structures in Koboko.
Together, we have agreed to start with Ombaci stadium which sits on a 13 Hectares piece of land in Koboko North Division. The land is ready and already titled for that purpose.
Eng. Aita promised to lead his team to Koboko  to start carrying out the designs for the proposed stadium.
I’m so optimistic that upon completion, the stadium will create more job opportunities for my people and also attract both local and foreign investors to start up similar projects in the region and Uganda at large.
I thank the Mayor of Arua Municipality and his team  for hosting us.  God Bless you all! For God and my Country,” Anite said.
