Angella Katatumba performs for President Uhuru Kenyatta

Singer Angella Katutumba said she was privileged and honoured to perform and dine with Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta.

This was at the second annual Dinner and Ball of the Diplomatic Corp of Uganda at Victoria Hall Conference Centre Kampala Serena Hotel Saturday.

Angella Katatumba performed and was also a big part of the organising Committee. Over 350m was raised to be given to The Uganda Cancer Institute. Chief Guest was HE President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya and he donated $20,000(70M) while his host President Yoweri Museveni donated Shs100m UGX.

“Last night I was beyond blessed and honoured to sing for the President of Kenya, H.E Uhuru Kenyatta at the Second Annual Black Tie Dinner at the Kampala Serena Hotel. H.E President Kenyatta donated 70M and H.E President Museveni donated 100M. Over 350M was raised and the proceeds of the dinner go to the Mulago Uganda Cancer Institute. As the face of Uganda Cancer Institute, I am extremely excited and grateful.
