KFM’s Aisha Alibhai has shocked the nation with her decision to stand for Member of Parliament for Soroti Municipality.
Aisha, known more for entertainment, came out to announce her desire to stand for MP after the current MP Mike Mukula announced that he was retiring from politics.

She is well known for her very good communication skills since she has been on radio for long and has previously worked with Global Trust Bank as a communications officer. She hosts a very politically motivated show with veteran journalist Chris Obore, where they discuss and argue out the political, social and economic structure of the nation.
The ‘D’ Mighty breakfast presenter was over the weekend in Soroti at the thanksgiving ceremony of Mike Mukula where she took the opportunity to mobilise for the support from the constituents.
