MP to be Aisha Alibhai has rejected an increased offer at Monitor Publication as the Head of Corporate Communications of the Namuwongo based publications. Even though the offer was a juicy one, Aisha Alibhai said she wants to get time to concentrate on her political career. She will now only be presenting the morning show Da’Mighty Breakfast’ and then dedicate the rest of her time to political activities as she vies for Soroti Municipality parliamentary seat next year.Aisha Alibhai is set to represent Soroti Municipality in the next parliament

Aisha is set to concentrate on her political career as she plans to replace Mike Mukula as Soroti Municipality Member of Parliament. She has already started mobilising for votes and every weekend she visits the constituency to gain more support.

The former communications officer and banker has been predicted by many to take over the seat with ease. She today confirmed the news on her Facebook wall; Aisha Alibhai;Ladies and gentlemen, I have resigned from my position as Corporate Affairs officer at Monitor Publications Limited. I am still a morning show presenter on 93.3 KFM.
