Afrisafe sponsors Chairman’s cup golf tournament
Afrisafe Risk Consultants, Uganda Limited, a new insurance Advisory firm are the new sponsors for the 9th edition of this year’s annual Entebbe club chairman’s cup.
The golf event is expected to attract over 240 golfers for a one day golf social event. Up for grabs, is a brand new Jeep grand Cherokee vehicle worth $88,000 for a hole in one played.
Speaking at the press launch, Afrisafe Chairman, Mr. Kwame Ejalu was pleased to announce that sponsorship for the annual event on the golf calendar.

“I have a long history with the Entebbe golf club, where I have sponsored golf for the past 8 years beginning with Alexander Forbes. But this year is special because we are launching a new company Afrisafe Risk Consultants, and to commemorating this, we are giving away of a special challenge”, Said Kwame.
“The special challenge is a grand Jeep Cherokee which will go to the golfer who will manage a Hole in one”, He supplemented Afrisafe also announced a sponsorship package of 80 million shillings towards the tournament.
Entebbe golf club chairman TwineManzi, expressed gratitude to Afrisafe insurance for breathing more life towards the game of golf and particularly the Entebbe golf club, which is the oldest club in Uganda.
“We are grateful to Afrisafe for the commitment to sponsor the game and support us as Entebbe golf club, we promise to have a greatly organized tournament this weekend,” Said Twine.
There will be other prizes for winners in different categories for both the Men and Ladies, which include Shs. 10 million cash kitty for the professional golfers category.
Apart from golf, the event will have guests feature in a raffle draw where they stand to win a one-year Life insurance policy or household property policy.
