Abryanz releases an appreciation message after the successful ASFAs

The CEO of Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs) Ahumuza Brian has wrote an appreciation message after his successful awards a week ago. Below is his full statement;

It always takes me one week to process the just concluded Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards, and even now, I still haven’t wrapped my head completely around it.

Putting together an event of this magnitude after the pandemic is an actual milestone for me, but guys, we just did!!!

I am beyond proud, honoured and thankful for everyone that made a contribution to this show. When I say everyone, I mean from the security, service providers, partners, sponsors, performers, showcasers, nominees, interns, the media, and the general public that bought tickets.

Coming back this year has taught me a lot, especially from an industry where I thought I knew the most. But coincidentally, this years theme “The Awakening” is all about self actualization. The will to look deep inside and find the essence for who we are, and then using that to trumph over everything else. This years show required me and my team to do exactly that, most likely as lifes way of emphasizing our comprehension of the theme.

“The Awakening” is all also about community, focusing what unites us, and not what divides us because this legacy is not just for me, it is for us as an industry, for us as a nation, us as a continent, us as Africans, as black people, and as a humanity.

As my friend Moses Moshions always says, “It takes a village”, and I am a lucky man to have all of you in this village☺️. What we just did was a launch into the future, Africa’s biggest Award show (ASFAs 2023) will be a teleport, an actual mystic existence. Its the year we leave a mark on the globe and step out as an awakened unit that has come together. And only God can stop that, but he wont😌!
