National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) is currently working on landscaping works, road network and other final works at the Katosi water project.
Plans are underway to evacuate more water from the facility and flood Kampala taps.
Currently, NWSC is sending about 60million out of the 160million from the new plant.
The water body is working on an evacuation system to bring more water to the city and address the water supply gaps.
The combination water production from Ggaba water works and Katosi will yield over 400million litres of water per day.
