Hon. Kibaaju Charity Kamuhanda, the new political queen has caused political tsunami in Mbarara City as she was yesterday declared the winner for NRM primaries for Mbarara City Woman MP seat.
While many thought she was just playing, the Kibaaju wave was the real deal.
In yesterday’s final results for Mbarara City Woman MP seat, Hon.Kibaaju Charity Kamuhanda pulled 13421votes against incumbent Hon. Ritah who got 11784, Hon Bonnie got 11768 and lastly Hon. Vanice got 1309. This confirms Ms Kibaaju Charity Kamuhanda as the official NRM flag bearer for the 2026 General Elections after drowning all her rivals heavily.
This is indeed the beauty with brains. Charity aka Enyonyozi Ya Mbarara (Mbarara’s shining star) will now embark on official campaign for the final polls slated for next year.
Like she said after launching her political bid, Kibaaju wants to restore the lost glory of Mbarara City. Overjoyed Kibaaju is yet to release official congratulatory message as the celebrations kick off in Mbarara City.
She launched her bid, went to the ground and worked for the people and here we are.
She wants to see leadership that is full of opportunities for all people in the city especially employment opportunities through attracting investors, improved health and education as well as improved infrastructure.
“God is faithful. Thank you my people. Let us keep support and love flowing,” Hon. Kibaaju Charity Kamuhanda said after the win.
