Hon. Kibaaju Charity Kamuhanda, Woman Member of Parliament for Mbarara City, joined other mourners from the Tooro Kingdom and across Uganda in paying their final respects to His Majesty Rukirabasaija Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the late King of Tooro.

She stood in solidarity with the Royal Family, the people of Tooro, and the entire nation during this solemn farewell, honouring the life, legacy, and remarkable contribution of the beloved monarch to the Tooro Kingdom and Uganda at large.
She described the death of King Oyo as a big loss to the entire nation and that the gap he left behind will never be filled. King Oyo was today laid to rest along his ancestors at Karambi Royal Tombs in Fort Portal. He died of cancer in the USA last month.

Kibaaju Charity Kamuhanda’s first Easter as the Woman Member of Parliament for Mbarara City.
