2026 Updates: Ssali Shafik eyes Youth MP Buganda Region seat

The forthcoming 2026 general elections promises to be the toughest and those intending to contest have already declared their intentions.

The latest on desk is youthful Mr. Ssali Shafik who hails from Makindye Ssabagabo in Wakiso District who has declared his intentions to contest for Youth Member of Parliament for Buganda Region.

He is currently a youth Councillor for Masajja Division Makindye.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Leadership and Governance.

He subscribes to the NRM Party and will contest on its ticket.

“Leadership is in Him not in the Political Party”.

His team is already on the ground mobilizing for support ahead of the ballot battle.
