National Unity Platform (NUP) flag bearer for Kira Municipality MP seat 2026, Hon. George Musisi, the new kid in Kira Municipality politics has swept away the incumbent and ‘unshakable’ Hon. Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda after 15 years at the helm of Kira Municipality MP seat.
Unknown in the politics Kira Municipality, the MP elect for Kira Municipality, Hon. George Musisi, slowly moved area to area under the Umbrella wave and did what many had failed to do in the last fifteen years to defeat Hon. Ssemujju.
Mr. Musisi who doubles as the lawyer for the National Unity Platform (NUP) was a surprise pick for the seat but when he was picked instead of Jimmy Lukwago aka Kira Young, he hit the ground work mobilizing for support and finally he has delivered NUP seat.
He was officially unveiled as the party flag bearer for the above seat by the party President Mr. Ssentamu Kyagulanyi Robert during his rally in Bweyogerere earlier this month. Musisi who also doubles as a senior counsel and political commentator has successfully swept away incumbent MP and PFF flag bearer Hon. Ssemujju Nganda Ibrahim.
Hon. Musisi wants to see effective leadership in the Municipality that’s service oriented and accountable to the people.
