Mbarara City Woman MP seat 2026 NRM flag bearer, Hon. Kibaaju Charity Kamuhanda, has called on her rival and the current Mbarara City Woman MP, Hon. Atukwasa Rita, to join her and they work together to develop Mbarara City.
Kibaaju Charity made a call recently while the two attended the same function in Mbarara. The call comes after Rita Atukwasa plans to contest as an independent after she lost to Kibaaju in July NRM primaries as well as the petition challenging the results.
The NRM party has also called on losers of NRM primaries against contesting as Independents. The party for all for those who lost to join the flag bearer and keep the party loyalty and agenda intact.
Kibaaju advised Rita to see light and join her for the betterment of both the party and the people of Mbarara City. Hon. Kibaaju wants to see effective service delivery in the city as well as increased youth employment opportunities.
