2026 Updates: Kadaga launches Busoga Sub Region NRM Taskforce as M7 fulfills his past pledges to the region
First Deputy Prime Minister and Kamuli District Woman MP Rt. Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga has today launched Busoga Sub Region NRM Taskforce with the aim of securing over 90% win for the NRM Presidential candidate H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and all other NRM Flag Bearers in the region.
The political temperature in the Busoga sub-region soared as the First Deputy Prime Minister, the Rt Hon Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga , touched down in Mayuge to launch the taskforce.
This was at Century Hotel where a strategic team dedicated to mobilize massive support for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni ahead of the 2026 General Elections unveiled.
During the press conference, Rt. Hon. Kadaga and Hon. Hellen Namutamba announced that President Museveni has fulfilled his promises to Busoga’s creatives and tourism sector.
A total of 400 million shillings has been allocated to support these initiatives, broken down as follows Busoga Talent and Musicians Network 300 million shillings.

Hon. Hellem Namutamba expressed heartfelt gratitude to President Museveni for keeping his word, highlighting the allocation of funds for land, studio facilities, and tourism development. This event underscores the NRM’s commitment to promoting development and supporting creative initiatives in Busoga.
It was Vibe to vibe as NRM mobilisation team continued its activations at Buyengo sub county headquarters in Jinja District.
The exercise is ongoing till the entire Busoga Region is fully covered and painted yellow.
