2026 Updates: Jimmy Lukwago engages Kasokoso councillors as he prepares for Kira Municipality MP seat

Kira Municipality MP hopeful Mr. Jimmy Lukwago aka Kira Young had an engagement with the area councillors at Kasokoso/Korea D- Kira Municipality as he continues to mobilize for support ahead of 2026 general elections. He is set to battle for Kira Municipality MP seat under National Unity Platform (NUP) party.

During the meeting they embarked on laying strategies on how they can embark on grassroot mobilization of people ahead of the 2026 protest vote.

As leaders they agreed to work together so that they can advance the cause and also make sure National Unity Platform wins the upcoming election.

Jimmy Lukwago and his team have been laying strategies on how they can take the seat from Hon. Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda.
