Former Sheema District Woman MP Hon. Jacklet Atuhaire Rwabukurukuru is back again to reclaim her seat in 2026 on independent ticket. She is set to be nominated this Wednesday 22nd October at Sheema Electoral Commission offices after which she will address her supporters at nomination rally in the district.
With the nomination to be completed, Hon. Jacklet Atuhaire envisions a Sheema where every learner has access to modern tools for learning.

As part of her commitment to quality education, she has pledged to donate more computers to schools across the district like she had done this before and she will certainly do it as the District Woman MP Sheema 2026-2031. She is the development fixer for Sheema District and Uganda at large.

With the world moving faster to totally digitalise, Hon. Jacklet’s vision and goal are clear:
She wants to equip learners with digital skills needed in today’s world. Bridge the technology gap between rural and urban schools and support teachers in delivering interactive, effective lessons as well as preparing Sheema’s children to compete and excel globally.
“A computer in a classroom is not just a machine, it is a window to knowledge, innovation, and opportunity. Together, let’s build a digitally empowered Sheema where no child is left behind,” Hon. Jacklet Atuhaire.
