As 2026 General Elections draw closer, Hon. Atuhaire Jacklet Rwabukurukuru has prioritized healthcare and economic development in Sheema District as she seeks to represent Sheema District again in Parliament come 2026. Her efforts to improve infrastructure, particularly roads, have enhanced access to healthcare services and markets for local products.
Some of her notable achievements include:
•COVID-19 Support, She donated 80,000 hoes to the Sheema District Community, helping families combat famine and poverty.
•Community Engagement, Hon. Jacklet has engaged with her constituents, listening to their concerns and addressing their needs.
•Empowering Women through Skilling Uganda,
Hon. Atuhaire has supported women in Sheema District through the Skilling Uganda program, teaching them income-generating skills like mushroom farming, Energy saving stove and briquettes, Liquid and bar soap, shoe making etc. This initiative has improved the lives of many, enabling them to earn a steady income and break free from financial struggles.
