Former RDC and senior politician Hajjat Hanifah Karadi has intensified her interest in Kawempe North MP seat come 2026. This is after she picked nomination forms at NRM party Electoral Commission offices at Kyadondo Road, Nakasero.
Hanifah Karadi who describes herself as the new hope for Kawempe North has been nicknamed Maama Kawempe by her supporters.
She wants to see total overhaul in Kawempe North, a constituency that has remained behind despite being in the capital. She wants to see effective service delivery and wants to lobby more from the government for the people of Kawempe North.
