The technical failures along the Ggaba-Namasuba transmission main have been addressed according to National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC).
The line has been anchored using concrete to support the pipe and avoid any failures when charged with water.
NWSC expect the concrete to set tonight and supply restored first thing tomorrow morning.
The water body appreciates your patience and understanding while the team worked for over 60hrs non stop to address the failures.
“We regret the delay in supply restoration. The team halted works for some time and had to drain the trenches before working after yesterday’s heavy downpour. #WaterMan,” NWSC management.
