Women Human Rights Defenders launch Online & Offline Safety, security guidelines

Women Human Rights Defenders (WHRDs) have Launched the Online and Offline Safety and Security Guidelines for WHRDs.

This was in Commemoration of International Women Human Rights Defenders in Uganda supported by European Union in Uganda, UN Women Uganda, EU, Spotlight, OHCHR Uganda and WHRDN Uganda.

Women Rights activist and feminist Some Nakaweesi said she was humbled to have lead facilitated this development and burnt those many midnight candles for months on end.

“It’s one of those days when you feel accomplished with the work of your hand and brain. Today was such a fulfilling moment, a powerful reunion, lots of positive vibes & celebration of our resilience as WHRDs and developing one of the firsts of this kind on this Continent.
