The Management of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) regrets to inform its valued customers and the general public that there will be interruptions in water supply today Friday 19th February, 2021 from 8am to 7pm
This is due to planned UMEME maintenance works on the power line to Entebbe Water Works.
Subsequently, water production and pumpage at all booster stations and supply to customers along Entebbe road will be affected;
Entebbe Town, Bugonga, Katabi, Nkumba, Kasenyi, Nakawuka, Busambaga, Kitoro, Kawuku, Akright, Namulanda, Kisubi, Abaita, Mpala, Parts of Lweza, Just add Lutembe, Bwebajja, Bweya, Kitende, Makandwa, Nakigalala, Kitovu, Kijjapan and Kawotto and the surrouding areas.
Customers are therefore advised to store water and use it sparingly as it takes time for the system to stabilize after a total plant shutdown.
All inconveniences are highly regretted.
