It was organised by Village Journeys Africa in partnership with the Uganda AIDS Commission, the meeting brought together sponsors, partners, and community leaders to align efforts under the marathon’s powerful slogan: “Run For Hope. Act For Life.”
The breakfast meeting was more than a networking event. it was a forum for collaboration and shared responsibility. Attendees included representatives from government agencies, NGOs, corporate sponsors, and advocacy groups, all united by a common goal — to amplify awareness and action in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Speakers emphasized the importance of collective action. The Uganda AIDS Commission highlighted the strides made in treatment and awareness, while acknowledging persistent challenges.

Corporate partners pledged support, recognizing the marathon as both a health initiative and a symbol of national unity.
