UBL invests Over 3 Billion in new trucks

Uganda Breweries Limited has commissioned a total of 67 trucks with hope to boost their spirits distribution and ensure that customers can access their products every day and everywhere.

The trucks that cost over Shs 3.6Billion were commissioned by Uganda Breweries Managing Director Mark Ocitti at the company premises on Friday.

The trucks will be deployed across the country to markets with huge potential to grow spirits.

Speaking during the commissioning of the trucks, Mathias Ssemwogere, the Spirits sales manager said, “The implementation of these trucks will see us increase circulation of our wide range of spirits brands. We have given them to our distributors and anticipate that they help to increase sales for brands like Uganda Waragi, Gilbeys, Bond 7, V and A, and Smirnoff vodka.”

He added that consumers should be assured that they can acquire UBL brands anywhere.

40 new trucks were rolled out today and the rest will soon be added to this fleet.
