Uganda’s Little Hands Go Green today joined Rainbow International School and launched the first ever Swimathon to raise money for Tree seedlings as two also launched the International Climate Change Conference 2016 that takes place on Earth Day 22nd April.

Children from all over and their parents and well wishers joined in to swim and raised money to buy tree seedlings. “We are upping the game and ensuring that saving Mother Nature, our environment and ultimately our future is our own responsibility. Stay blessed and keep it Green,” Joseph Masembe said.

Meanwhile Rainbow International School has officially joined green revolution. The school has released an official statement to confirm going green.

“After a successful press conference to launch the “3rd International Children’s Climate Change Conference” this morning, we at Rainbow are all proud to say that today is the day when we officially GO GREEN!
In partnership with Little Hands Go Green (Uganda), our parent company – Midland Group is sponsoring this year’s Conference that will be held at Rainbow on Friday, 22/04/16.

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Midland Group and Rainbow have come out to strongly support environmental conservation efforts through tree planting.

We are thankful to all our students, parents and teachers that took part in the ‘Swimathon’ to raise funds that were handed over to Little Hands Go Green (Uganda) for the purchase of tree seedlings to plant all over Uganda.
Let’s go Rainbow, let’s go Little Hands Go Green (Uganda), let’s go Uganda – make our country green!”
