Kampala: Stanbic Bank has officially launched the FlexiPay Cashback Explosion, a highly anticipated 90-day campaign featuring offers of various rewards, and increased customer engagement to encourage uptake of digital payments.

FlexiPay is the bank’s innovative digital mobile platform that does not require one to have a Stanbic Bank account in order to use it.

Josephine Nakato, the Manager Customer Experience at FlexiPay, expressed her enthusiasm about the campaign. She said, “It is all about giving back to our customers and demonstrating the true value of going digital. Through activation events at various locations nationwide, we’re making banking more accessible, enjoyable, and rewarding for everyone.”
The campaign aims to reward customers for embracing cashless transactions through several events and activities in which use of FlexiPay increases your chances of winning.

The launch event took place over the weekend at Senana Supermarket in downtown Kampala, where interactive demonstrations of the FlexiPay app captivated shoppers and passersby alike.
The campaign offers instant 10% cashback to customers who spend UGX 50,000 or more while shopping or paying bills using FlexiPay. Through the three-month period, the goal is to make everyday transactions more rewarding.

Kyomuhendo said, “I never thought I’d win, but this campaign has put a big smile on my face. Now I have more reasons to use FlexiPay every day!”

Activation points include Petro service stations, restaurants, supermarkets and boutiques where customers will not only enjoy immediate cashback rewards but will also receive guidance on fully utilizing the FlexiPay app for a range of transactions from paying utility bills and school fees to purchasing groceries.

Jackie Abwol, Brand and Marketing Manager for FlexiPay, said during the 90 days, Stanbic Bank has planned a series of surprises, giveaways, and customer engagement activities to keep the momentum alive.
