Apparently (from the corridors) the father of Susan had gathered the ransom money as kidnappers demanded after seeing the video which was recorded by the kidnappers while chopping this innocent girl piece by piece. They first sent the hands in a package accompanied with a memory card indicating how they chopped off the hands in pain. They asked for money, which was delivered to their place of wish, but they wanted the mother to deliver it alone, sensing that they were being tracked, they refused picking the money claiming the woman came with military guards in civilian clothes.
It is rumoured though, the kidnappers had a deal with the father of the deceased valued in millions of dollars, but unfortunate for the father, or for Susan since she has ended up being the victim, the father was at the frontline and the deal didn’t go like the ’colleagues’ assumed. Efforts to explain to them were fruitless. This is probably why despite all these threats the security organs were sidelined by the relatives of the deceased. The kidnappers are rumoured to be known to the family. The money they demanded was basically not ransom but their share of a deal which went bad. This theory however is yet to be confirmed by the authorities. It is still just a rumor.

Susan Magara was a daughter to John Fitzegerald Magara and a granddaughter of former energy Minister Henry Kajura Muganwa.
Police has put a reward of 100m to whoever can identify person speaking on audio they sent to the father.
