SK Mbuga wants $15 to 20m in compensation

City tycoon Sulaiman Kabangala Mbuga aka SK Mbuga wants the Swedish government to compensate him with $15-20m after winning fraud case.

He was last week set free after one year and nine months in custody on allegations that he defrauded a Swede, Sten Heisoo of 53m kroner (UGX 23bn) with his wife Vivian Birungi Mbuga.

His release came after a prosecutor in Sweden during a court session on Friday (September 27, 2019), failed to provide enough evidence that the tycoon committed fraud related crimes.

He is now slated to take legal action against Sweden and is a demanding between $15-20m.

The news that he won the case and the damage he will be paid is all over in the Swedish papers and TVs.

The tycoon yesterday arrived back home amid excitement from his family members, friends and fans.
