Singer Lilian Mbabazi and her Sundowners band are all set to perform at the 5th edition of the Uganda Vintage and classic show on Saturday.
Set to take place at Sheraton Hotel, Kampala, the annual event that is a magnet for many Kampalans celebrates people who are passionate about cars and the history behind these cars. Over 70 fanciest, oldest, showiest Vintage cars will be showcased at the event.
Lilian has promised a massive performance to all who will be at the car show that doubles as a family experience.
According to the organizers, there will be a good mix of the newly imported vintage and classic cars as well as the perfectly maintained or restored models. There will also be fun-filled activities, a children’s play area, a food court and hospitality tents with lots of bites and drinks as well as fun games.
Ahead of the Vintage and Classic auto show, there will be a snail trail drive through town this Friday, 29th July. Over 80 cars that will be showcased at the show will drive through the streets of Kampala to give people a sneak peak of what they should expect. The cars will set off from Mogas petrol station Kireka and the final destination will be Sheraton Hotel, Kampala.
