In an effort to boost the patriotism strategy, Seku will lead a mass campaign to distribute Uganda patriotic T-shirts and reflector jackets, emphasizing the importance of national pride over highly political NRM T-shirts. A resident of Jinja highlighted this sentiment, stating, “We prefer Uganda patriotism T-shirts more than highly political NRM T-shirts.”
One supporter, who previously identified as a diehard fan of Bobi Wine, shared their transformation: “I have attended patriotism training sessions, and I can assure you that Hellen Seku is such an exceptional leader. I joined Museveni not because I was paid but because Hellen helped me to understand the roles and duties of a citizen.”
