Pictorial: Tears of joy at Carol Flower’s dinner of people with albinism
GXP Gospel show presenter on NTV Uganda and humanitarian, Carol Flower has shed tears of joy after a successful dinner with albinism people.
The dinner was at Katonga Hall, Kampala Serena Hotel. Carol is full of praise for those who supported and attended the dinner.
“I feel lost for words, i don’t know what to say, I filled with gratitude about 29th September 2018,” Carol said.
“I feel lost for words, I don’t know what to say. I fear to mention names because I might miss some out some but I’m filled with gratitude about 29th. Sept. 2018
Everything that I conceived in my mind, came to life as I had envisioned it. We were able to sell out all the tables as well as the seats.
Out of the 3 acres we intended to buy, we’ve raised enough to buy 2 acres for the people living with albinism.
If all the pledges materialise, we shall be able to acquire the 3rd.
This would definitely not have been possible if you hadn’t paid that 200k for seats and 2.5m for tables. We’re indebted to you.

I’d like to say thank you to the current head of Uganda Law Society, Simon Peter M. Kinobe for attending the event. I’d also like to thank Hon. Mohammad Muhammad Nsereko. Mr. Oscar Kihika, himself a former president of ULS attended too.
The Director of Public Prosecutions who was slated to speak too, was out of the country but he expressed support. The country sales manager for Serena Hotels Mrs Allen Ampaire.
With all these distinguished lawyers on our side, I feel that justice and equality for people living with albinism will be achieved.
I’d like to thank the sponsors too.
Thank you Serena Hotels (Ann Ampaire in particular), Bicco forex, Pebuu, NTV Uganda, Jumia Uganda and The Clan for ensuring that the event was a success.
The service providers were on point too. The decor was elegant. The food from Serena was top class. The music from Qwela Band featuring Sandra Suubi was heavenly.
The dance from the Baraka performers was a spectacle. The screens and trussing from GE was amazing. It was a blessing.
Finally, I’d like to thank God who put this burden on my heart and saw it through with minimal stress. He made it look easy.
Once again my God has humbled me.
Let’s remember that this doesn’t stop at this event, please reach out and show love to the people living with albinism at whichever opportunity because they deserve acceptance, and God bless you all for your kind hearts,” Carol said.
