

Pictorial: Kyamukongwire fires up revellers at Kampala Serena Hotel
On Sunday the 14th of July, fans and music lovers of Peace Mbabazi Kyamukongwire filled Serena Hotel’s Katonga Hall during her ‘Nikyenda Okuremeraho’ concert.


Fans and friends, well wishers, family and friends began making their way into the Katonga Hall as early as 6:00pm.


At 7 PM, curtain raisers’ performances began in high gear lead by fellow gospel singers like Mary Asiimwe, Musimeta Florence, Ngoma Joseph Simon Mirembe among others
Peace later took to the stage at a few minutes past 7 PM with a warm welcome from the revellers who were excited to watch her perform for them. She performed both her old and new songs off her two albums ‘Ninzakurwana’ and ‘Rukundo Egumeho’ like ‘Nimurungi’, ‘Yesu Weitu Oryowamaani’, ‘Omuntu Womunda’, ‘Yesu Gumananye’, ‘Rukundo Egumeho’ among others.
After her first round of her showcase, she had a special time to say thank you to her sponsors SMS ONE, UBC, Movit, Pepsi, Uganda Police, Horeb Company, Electoral Commission, Centenary Bank and National Water and Sewerage Corporation (UWSC) and the representatives from some of these companies had special gifts to give her.


Before she came perform her last song ‘Nikyenda Okuremeraho’ in the second round, there was another round of artistes who performed for the crowd and these were Betty Namaganda and her husband Pastor Robert Senyonga, Simon Mirembe, Joy Tendo, Lady Harriet, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Carol Kyambara, sergeant Asiimwe and finally Mary Asiimwe.


Peace, the biggest gospel singers from Western Uganda appreciated guests who came through and promised to host her fans for next year’s concert at Victoria’s Hall Kampala Serena Hotel.
