It was a fun-filled evening at the Smirnoff Vodka sponsored Malembe Block Party at the Guvnor parking lot featuring Nigerian sensation Joeboy and UK rap group WSTRN.
Deejays Ciza, Spinny and Edwizzy Selector were on station to entertain revellers who started flocking the venue by 7pm.
Before guest artists took the stage, Cosign, Big Trill, A Pass and Hip Hop duo Bantu Nation warmed the crowd with hit after hit before Nigeria’s Joeboy stepped on stage and performed his chart topping singles. During his performance, Joeboy premiered a new single which he said was being performed for the first time ever.
Afterwards, UK chart topping trio WSTRN, held the stage for close to an hour as they went through some of the crowd’s favourites like Ben Ova.
