The 3rd National Dog Show and All Breed Assessment was a great success, attracting dog lovers, breeders, pet food dealers, grooming services, and trainers from all over Uganda. The event, organized by the Canine Association of Uganda, featured over 40 exhibitors showcasing their products and services.

One of the most outstanding exhibitors was Kaya’s Kitchen, a Ugandan business specializing in producing organic and chemical-free pet food and grooming products. Their range of foodstuffs includes Puppy treats, Kitten Treats, chicken jerky, fish jerky, goat jerky, and Snicker doodles, all of which are made from organic locally sourced ingredients. Kaya’s Kitchen is expanding into new markets such as Kenya and exporting to Europe as well.

Flavia Namagwa of Kaya’s Kitchen highlighted the company’s commitment to environmentally-friendly products that pose no threat to pets. She explained that their products are free of additives, preservatives, and other chemicals commonly found in mass-produced pet foods. Kaya’s Kitchen’s grooming products, such as Flea N tick powder, Flea N tick spray, and dog shampoo, are made from natural ingredients such as Neem tree, lemon grass, and citronella, which are highly effective pest repellents.

The event’s organizers were pleased with the turnout, as all age groups were well represented, and attendees had a great time. They called upon the public to look out for upcoming events that will be announced soon.
