National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) is moving machinery on top of Lake Victoria to lay the new Katosi water plant intake.
The water body is sending the intake 500 meters into the lake as the new Katosi Water plant near completion.
NWSC also released pictures of Inside the Katosi water works complex.
They are installing heavy duty pumps to lift over 160million litres of water per day from Lake victoria and subsequently bridge the water supply gaps in Kampala Metropolitan service area.
