Saturday the 15th of June was a memorable evening for the people of Mbarara, as Bell Lager and an assortment of Uganda’s hottest new artists took the stage at Agip Motel.
Under the theme, “Celebrating the Fresh and New”, the Bell All Star Tour made its first stop in the Western Uganda District featuring Vinka, Nina Roz, Beenie Gunter, Fik Fameica, John Blaq, Spice Diana, T Paul, Matt Henry and Mc Kacheche. The event, aimed at shining a spotlight on new artists in the music industry, was a massive success that saw attendees winning a number of goodies such as headphones, T-shirts and crates of Bell Beer.
One of the highlights of the show was Spice Diana, whostarted off her performance by taking her high heels off, speaking almost fluent Runyankore and later getting on her knees to thank her fans for all their support and encouragement.
Francis Kirabira, the brand manager of Bell Lager, said, “We thank all the fans who came out in large numbers to support Bell Lager and Ugandan musical talent. The successful completion of the Mbarara show, which is our first stop, is a testament to all that is to come. The people of Gulu should be ready for us on the 6th of July.”
Launched in 2018, the Bell All Star Tour is an opportunity for Bell lager to interact with their consumers while providing a platform for Uganda’s talented musicians to get up close and personal with their fans.
This year’s tour started with Mbarara on the 15th of June and will head to Gulu on the 6th of July, Kabale on the 20th of July, Arua on the 27th of July, Masaka on the 3rd of August and a finale in Kampala at the Lugogo Cricket Oval on the 23rd of August.
The tour is also made possible in partnership with Swangz Avenue, NBS TV and Capital FM.
