The Minister of State for Economic Monitoring in President’s Office Hon Peter Ogwang has called on LC V chairpersons to be whistle-blowers of wrong doers.
While addressing the chairpersons on how to enhance service delivery, the minister told them to not only provide political leadership but take a close watch on wrongdoings.
He was joined by Local Government Minister Hon. Raphael Magyezi who also addressed the gathering on how to enhance service delivery in their communities.
“Joined the Minister of Local Gov’t Hon Raphael Magyezi to address District Chairpersons all over the country on how to enhance service delivery. LCV Chairpersons are not only supposed to provide political leadership, but also be the first whistle-blowers of any wrongdoings,” Hon. Peter Ogwang tweeted.
