The State Minister for Sports Hon. Peter Ogwang has hailed the government for the swift completion of Hoima Stadium. He particularly commended President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and Education and Sports Minister Hon. Janet Kataaha Museveni for selecting a contactor who has delivered a true masterpiece in Hoima Stadium. He called on the general public to keep believing in NRM Government saying it will continue delivering for the people.
The minster said the challenge of inadequate sports infrastructure in country is becoming a thing of the past.
The Hoima Stadium is a fully equipped multi-sport facility, hosting rugby, athletics, and various indoor games on top of football. FIFA has already certified it as a 5-star stadium according to Hon. Peter Ogwang.
