Muvule Academy on Church Road in Entebbe, brings you its students’ event called Party Picnic in the Park that will take place on the 11th of June 2016 at the school from 12 noon to 4pm.

This school that offers an integrated curriculum is a new Learning Center of Excellence that transforms current education models in Uganda and promotes the development of each child’s curiosity by providing a stimulating and safe learning environment, has a kids event to showcase the creativeness and innovativeness of its students.

During the Party Picnic in the Park, the students will be singing, dancing and performing on different music instruments like the piano, recorder and much more.

It should be known that Muvule academy strives to cultivate an environment that inspires children with a deeper curiosity for vital knowledge and critical skills using inter and multidisciplinary approaches that bring a number of education philosophies together, including the Reggio Emilia approach, Multiple Intelligences and Progressive Education. These philosophies sharpen the teachers with hands-on approach to learning.

With indoor and outdoor facilities, the academy is specially designed by educators under the belief and knowledge that children learn best in a supportive, nurturing, structured, engaging environment through hands-on experiences.

Their beautiful outdoor space has absolutely no physical limitations and offers endless opportunities for gross motor development, cooperation, physical and natural world awareness and development, and relationship building. We have a puppetry theatre and each class is literarily rich; cultivating a love of reading and storytelling. And these are the grounds that will be hosting the Party Picnic in the Park event.

About the school

At Muvule Academy, each child is embraced to facilitate cognitive, social-emotional, physical and collaborative growth with the help of highly experienced and trained teachers. There are faculty plan that are collaboratively and share best practices to improve pedagogy.

Our faculty has experience working within international education settings both in Uganda and various locations around the world. Our teachers are highly qualified in child development.

Muvule Academy believes in small class sizes. Our teacher to pupil ratio is 1:6 for our two to three year olds and 1:10 for our four to five year olds. Our maximum number of pupils per class is 12. We believe the classrooms are our “third teacher”; everything in them provides an opportunity for learning and growing. Our classrooms are large and bright, yet warm and natural. We provide our children the space and opportunity to interact and play becoming responsible and active members of society.
