Uganda has reached a landmark achievement by signing an agreement between the Kenyan Government and the Uganda Grain Council.
Under the contract, Uganda will supply Kenya between 600,000 to 1 Million tones of maize in one year.
The negotiations were sponsored and facilitated by OWC.
The Ugandan delegation was led by Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) Deputy Chief Coordinator Lt. Gen. Charles Angina. It was also composed of the Chairman of the Uganda Grain Council. Mr. Chris Kaijuka, Dr. Charles Lagu of NAGRC and Ramathan Ggoobi from OWC.
This is without a doubt a great step towards achieving drastic economic transformation change not just in Uganda.
