Ongoing: NWSC extends supply in Ruhumuro & Bitooma in Bushenyi

Working with the Bushenyi leadership, National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) is laying water mains to serve their customers in Ruhumuro, Bitooma and the surrounding areas in the Bushenyi Service area.

NWSC management has sent special appreciation to Roofings Group Uganda among other partners for their support towards Water For All.

Water stabilisation Plans for Ruhumuro Sub County include;

Rehabilitation & Source re-protection for Kyabukumu GFS.

Construction of 20 Public water points.

Development of Kitwe GFS which involves land acquisition and construction of retaining walls, sedimentation tank.

Laying of raw water mains, to serve Bugaara parish.

Laying 17Km distribution main from Warugo reservoir in Kakanju Subcounty.

Construction of 120 cubics concrete twin tanks at Bugaara Catholic Church.

Laying of water mains extensions and intensifications in 2025.

Works to extend services to Bitooma Town Council and the surrounding areas.
