NWSC UPDATE: Water Supply Interruption In Kampala East Water Supply Zone

Following 72 hours of non-stop works at the Katosi water works, National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) experienced a re-occurence on the DN1400 bulk water transmission main, necessitating the need for closure and resumption of works.

To note, this is the biggest bulk water transmission main in Uganda and requires specialist engineering solutions to correct the failure.

A team of specialist engineers is working around the clock to address this failure and subsequently restore supplies in the shortest time possible.

To our valued customers in Katosi, Kisoga, Mukono, Seeta, Mbalala, Namugongo, Namanve, Sonde, parts of Kireka, Kamuli, Kyaliwajjala, Bulindo, Nsasa, Mulawa, Nabusugwe, Kitukutwe, Mbalala, Naalya, Ntinda, Kyambogo, Kisaasi, Najjera, Luteete, Gayaza, parts of Kamwokya, parts of Kireka, Mbuya, Mutungo, Kitintale Matugga, and the surrounding areas, we totally understand the frustration caused by the no water situation, and the team is working tirelessly to complete works in the shortest time.

NWSC  has therefore called on customers to please bear with them as they give it all to restore supplies.
