NWSC promotes Sanitation at Buddo Junior School
Members of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) yesterday joined Buddo Junioir School Water and Sanitation Club to promote sanitation and hygiene on Buddo Hill.
“Today we joined Buddo Junior School water and Sanitation club “Kabinja” to promote Sanitation and hygiene on Buddo hill,” NWSC.
The school water and Sanitation clubs is an initiative fully funded by National Water and Sewerage Corporation to inculcate issues of safe water use, hygiene, Sanitation and environmental protection among our future leaders.
Meanwhile NWSC has warned the general public against theft of water by tampering with water meters saying it has severe punishments on suspects.
Theft of water by tampering with or bypassing water meters not only costs National Water and Sewerage Corporation billions of shillings a year, but also imposes costs on each and every paying customer.
Water theft is a serious offense and can result in significant fines as well as criminal prosecution by NWSC. Stop Water Theft!!
