National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) engineers today met officials from M/s Winsor Consult Limited.
The team was contracted to engage in community mobilisation and sensitisation for the new Nakivubo-Kiwataka- Nalukolongo waste water system.
The new system will help to improve hygiene, sanitation and health in the various communities in the city.
The project also entails activities to protect the quality of water in the inner Murchison bay Of Lake Victoria. The engagement is part of ongoing project works for the new and largest sewerage treatment plant in East and Central Africa.
