NWSC Jinja Plant to be shutdown this Saturday

Jinja People, Please store enough water in preparation for Tomorrow’s shutdown. Full message below;

The Management of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) wishes to inform it’s esteemed customers and the general public that there will be water supply interruptions in Jinja on Saturday 19th October, 2019 from 8am to 5pm.

This is due to planned maintenance works by UMEME. The exercise will affect normal water production and supply schedules at Masese water works.

Affected areas include:

Jinja, Iganga, Mayuge, Njeru municipality, Kitigoma in Lugazi municipality, Kalagala Magalita, Sseta,Nyiize, Bukeka in Kayunga district and the surrounding areas.

Customers are therefore advised to store enough water and use it sparingly.
