National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) yesterday joined School Water and Sanitation Club Members from over 150 towns across Uganda to march for safe clean water, hygiene, sanitation and catchment promotions among our future leaders. The walk through the streets of Kampala was a precursor for the school water and sanitation club convention which happened at the International Resource Center, Bugolobi.
The chief walker was NWSC board chair Mrs Ruth Kanyaruju, escorted by the Patron School water and sanitation clubs and Director Finance Mrs Sylvia Tumuhairwe and the Deputy Managing Director and Corporation Secretary Ms Edith Kateete.
The school water and sanitation club is an initiative from National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) to inculcate issues of safe water, hygiene and catchment/environmental protection among our future leaders.
NWSC is involved in many community development activities as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSI).
