President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today appointed new cabinet ministers to fill the vacant posts.
Democratic Party Chairman Hon. Norbert Mao is the biggest winner and a day signing an understanding with NRM government, he is already a minister.
He has been appointed Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Hon. Hamson Obua has been appointed Government Chief Whip, Hon. Akello Beatrice Akori has been appointed State Minister for Economic Monitoring Office of the President replacing Hon. Peter Ogwang who has been appointed Minister of State for Education and Sports.
“By virtue of the authority conferred on the President by Articles 113(1) and 114 (1) of the 1995 constitution of the Republic of Uganda, I hereby appoint persons below as Cabinet Ministers and Ministers of State,” A president’s statement read.
