Kabula Farmer and politician Mr. Mwesigye Frank has said the NRM risks facing a very serious crisis if the culture of buying delegates to vote continues.
Posting on his Social Media Platforms, Frank who is a diehard of Patriotic League of Uganda under Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, said many capable and visionary candidates are already being frustrated simply because they don’t have the money to buy delegates, hide them in hotels, or facilitate them with cash. A dangerous mindset is growing where some individuals believe they own the party just because they have money.

He went on to say if this nonsense is not stopped, Ugandans will lose faith in electoral colleges, and the party will lose the trust of its own people. The NRM government still has a long way to go in fighting corruption because it is becoming the champion of corruption itself.

“Delegates being bought with huge sums of money to vote! Where is the spirit of patriotism we always speak about? May God use Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba to put an end to this rot. It is painful to witness,” Mwesigye Frank concluded.
