President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni yesterday laid a foundation stone for a building that will house the Rtd Gen Caleb Akandwanaho School of Research and Walter Rodney Block.
The President thanked the leadership of NALI for the initiative and told the gathering especially the young ones to emulate the works of Gen. Salim Saleh aka Caleb Akandwanaho who he said started the struggle to liberate Uganda at the age of 16.
Saleh’s daughter who also doubles as Kiboga Woman MP Hon. Desire Muhooza represented his father as H.E M7 commissioned Gen Saleh school of research in Kyankwanzi.
She hailed her father for being a courageous man who has fought many struggles. She appreciated the leadership of the NRM Government for honouring her father with such initiative.
