The Minister for Lands Hon. Judith Nabakooba has warned contractors against delaying and advised them to finish in time.
The minister also warned them against doing shoddy work saying their companies stand to be blacklisted both locally and internationally.
She made the remarks while on a tour in the districts of Mityana, Kasanda and Mubende.
She warned those contracted to do Urban roads in those districts financed by World Bank (WB) to style up and do the work as per specifications.
On the Mityana – Mubende Road being done by Energo Project, she said the construction work is behind schedule.
Resident political leaders complained about the slow pace construction work is on.
