Meet 2014 Miss Asia Pacific World Ugandan Contestants

One of the most popular beauty pageants in Asia is returning for its fourth year. Last year’s pageant which was held in Seoul, South Korea was won by Shrishti Rana from India. This year’s event will be held in Seoul Korea at the prestigious Hallyu Complex on May 31st.

Miss Asia Pacific World management has shortlisted four Ugandan girls to vie for the hot spot of representing the county this year. The four include models and fashion designer.

The winner will be selected through Facebook where their photos have posted and whoever gets the most likes will head to South Korea. We reveal them below.

Doreen FaithDoreen FaithShe is a fashion designer with Dare designs. Doreen stays in the UK and she is well acquainted with fashion and modeling.

Shontelle Christian NamudduShontelle NamudduShe is a runaway Ugandan model based  in South Africa

Nina MirembeNina MirembeShe is a Ugandan professional model. Well known as a fitness, bikini, lingerie, high fashion, commercial, editorial and runway model.

 Doreen Kabareebedoreen-kabareebeShe is a model who is now doing charity and humanitarian work. She was voted Uganda’s Most outstanding model 2013.

This will be Uganda’s second time taking part in this pageant, the first one being that of last year where Ms Stella Nankya represented. According to the pageant’s website, Stella is current director of Miss Asia Pacific World Uganda and South Africa.
